Dried Cranberry Beans are plump, oval ivory colored beans with a distinct cranberry colored speckled pattern curving across the whole body of each bean. When cooked, these beans develop a sweet and rich, nutty and meaty flavor and have a plush creamy texture. They absorb flavor and seasoning well, making these beans a good accompaniment for bold and savory companion ingredients, though they do lose most of their impressive coloring and markings once cooked.
