Anise Hyssop is a species of herb that belongs to the mint family. It has a sweet taste and smells of licorice and mint, similar to fennel seeds. Fresh leaves and flowers are often added to salads and fruit salads as well being used as a garnish. Anise Hyssop leaves can also be utilized as a substitute for anise or mint in certain recipes.
Store dry in an airtight container in fridge for up to a week. Flower buds are best used promptly.
