Borage

Fresh Borage flowers are bright blue and edible, tasting mildly of cucumber. The leaves, though edible, are not as desirable as the fresh blossoms. Use Borage as a garnish for salad or desserts, or freeze with diced mint in ice cubes to add a pop of color to fresh squeezed summer lemonade or sparkling spritzers.

Store as you would flowers, in water in a vase on the counter, for about a week. Use within 2-3 days for best results.
